Hi … I have suffered from severe dandruff from 5 years old. I have recently started doing a little research and I think possibly psoriasis. I have had these problems I took the scalp and lice in kindergarten and had to use the medication is … I have 20 now. Nothing seems to work … I have tried Head & Shoulders, T-gel, Vaseline, baby oil, wash more than once a day. It’s in patches around the base of my neck to the top of the ears. Cold weather makes it worse and I went to the beach yesterday and since then has been driving me crazy. My scalp feels so hard and dry. Is there an option for me? I have no insurance and I am sure that dermatologists can be really expensive. Thank you! Best answer :

tar shampoos in almost any store that sells shampoo, tar shampoo smells bad, but generally works well. When you shampoo with one of these has to really scrub the scalp, not hair, most people make the mistake of only washing the hair, not scalp. Repeated use of a tar shampoo should do the trick (when you shampoo to wash your scalp, leave the foam in a few minutes). If this does not show any improvement after 2-3 weeks, you need to see a doctor for prescription drugs.
